Some exciting news about the For Boomers Only Blog…ok, would you believe really interesting? How about somewhat relevant?
As our regular readers know and have mentioned numerous times to us, this summer we were kind of slack getting new articles out to you, but we had a pretty good reason. Did I just hear someone say “because you’re lazy?” Well, that’s part of it, but we’ve also been very busy working on a book version of For Boomers Only and it’s almost done! We hope to have a print book version and an eBook version both. We’ll see which one gets out the door first.
Did you know there is already an android app for Boomers? Yup. We created one some time ago and testing was very successful so we’re going to release that to the android market this month. We’re still sorting out how to do that for the Apple world. Last but not least, some time ago we released For Boomers Only via the Kindle and it’s available to anyone with 99-cents and nothing else to do.
So we’d like to thank all the people who have supported us over the past year and, if you are a subscriber to this blog you will get a free eBook version when it’s ready. The book contains the best of the For Boomers Only Blog from over the past year, so you can relive some of the fun, joy, warmth, chronic complaining and stomach cramps all over again. Just remember, bad jokes are even funnier the second time around – as long as you self-medicate with your favorite libation beforehand of course.
We look forward to seeing you here in the coming months, and we may even break down and write something new now and then. And, it’s always free, but our answer is still “no” to the people who asked if we would pay them to read our stuff. You guys in Congress already earn enough.
